PRO-pHx provides an answer for the high cost of acid disposal and acid replacement for industrial acids used for metal treatment. It is an inorganic, odorless additive that produces no fumes or gassing.
PRO-pHx Reagent Chemistry drops metals, organics and impurities out of solution that build up in the metal treatment process. This frees up the remaining available acid in solution and thereby extending the acid life and decreasing the quantity of new acid necessary to maintain the desired ratio of acid to water.
PRO-pHx is added to acid in the ratio of 1% to the total acid / water volume. Filtration then removes the impurities from the acid. The only additional acid needed is that which is lost during drag out, evaporation and production. PRO-pHx must be added to the Acid Spikes (additions) in the ratio of 1% by volume.
